The Artemisia Turmeric Natural Bar Soap Bar is handmade in small batches using cold pressed soap making method. The cold pressed method is a handmade process where the key active byproduct ‘Glycerin,’ an excellent natural moisturizer of the skin and the benefits of essential oils and natural ingredients are all preserved.

The versatile soap bar, laced with artemisia fragrance is a perfect blend of turmeric known for its natural antibacterial properties and Vitamin E content with raw beeswax which has antiseptic, deep cleansing, and preservatives properties.

For the saponification process to complete, the soap bars are kept for a month on shelves and then hand wrapped in locally produced Daphne paper (paper produced from the bark of Daphne plant).

Artemisia Turmeric natural bar soap bars are natural, biodegradable and contain NO harmful ingredients. They are free from chemical foaming agents, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Parabens, artificial or added color, synthetic fragrance and preservative, and no animal testing.

Artemisia Turmeric natural bar soap bar is a great choice for those who have dry skin conditions. It is made with a gentle formula of potent ingredients that are beneficial for rashes and dried skin, thus helping keep the skin hydrated and soft.

The antioxidants components for improving skin conditions in turmeric help revitalize your skin cells for a lustrous and healthy glow. Furthermore, the artemisia essential oil is known to be a reliable agent in combating acne and dermatitis.

Good for Environment: The bar is wrapped in degradable papers as compared to liquid soaps using plastic pumps and squeezable bottles. Furthermore, the energy required for making the bar soap is far less than what is needed for liquid soaps.

How to Use

Wet and rinse your hand and face with clean water before you wash with the bar soap. Work the soap into nice lather and apply it to your face with your hands. Gently massage the foamy lather into your face with a circular motion for about 20 to 30 seconds and rinse well.

For shower and body wash, first wet your body and either rub the bar soap directly over skin or create lather in hands or washcloth before scrubbing thoroughly. Rinse well to finish washing.

How to Keep

Use a draining soap dish and whenever possible keep your bar soap away from water. This helps keep the soap bar dry between uses and extends the shelf life. In humid condition, you may observe crystallization of water droplets on the soap surface. This is normal and does not affect the quality of soap.

Caution

This is for external use only. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.

Use on small skin area first and if irritation occurs, discontinue use. Read the ingredient list carefully as some ingredients may cause an allergic reaction in some individuals. Keep out of reach from children.

Delivery will be done till your doorstep. Our delivery time starts from 10:00 A.M. till 5:00 P.M in Thimphu.     3. What should I do if I miss the delivery date?
      • Our Sales Team will contact you to arrange the time before attempting delivery. If you are not available at the time of your delivery attempt, the Team will try to contact you again the next working day.

      • Yes, we do deliver to all 20 Dzongkhags in Bhutan. We use Bhutan Postal Corporation Limited’s Express Mail Service (EMS). Accordingly DOMESTIC rates would apply. FREE shipping only specific to Thimphu city.

    • What is Bio Bhutan’s cancellation policy?

Before cancelling an order, please read and understand the following terms & conditions:

      • The item(s) you want to cancel is not shipped yet.
      • Cancelled order cannot be recovered on our system.
      • You can cancel an item or several items in your order.
      • Any vouchers, discounts, or promotions applied to the order cannot be reused.
      • The remaining order’s value after you canceled one or several items has to fulfill the same conditions for discount, promotions, or minimum basket fee exemption applied to the order. If not, your order will be canceled. Price is subject to change depending on Bio Bhutan’s promotion programs.
      • We do not commit to offering the same price if you re-order.
    • Is there an extra cost for order cancellation?

No. However, if after you canceled one or several items in your order, the remaining order's value does not match our conditions for discount, promotions or free shipping charge, Bio Bhutan will cancel the whole order.

We offer you the possibility to return any unused product within the return warranty duration. We will refund 100% of the cost if the item is returned within 7 days after purchase provided it fulfills our validity of returned items. If it exceeds 7 Days, we only offer 50% refund and 10% after 10 days and no refund after 14 days.
Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer. You can ship from the nearest postal office in your Dzongkhag.
