Benefits:

Artemisia Turmeric natural bar soap bar is a great choice for those who have dry skin conditions. It is made with a gentle formula of potent ingredients that are beneficial for rashes and dried skin, thus helping keep the skin hydrated and soft.

The antioxidants components for improving skin conditions in turmeric help revitalize your skin cells for a lustrous and healthy glow. Furthermore, the orange essential oil is known to be a reliable agent in combating acne and dermatitis.

How to Use

Wet and rinse your hand and face with clean water before you wash with the bar soap. Work the soap into nice lather and apply it to your face with your hands. Gently massage the foamy lather into your face with a circular motion for about 20 to 30 seconds and rinse well.

For shower and body wash, first wet your body and either rub the bar soap directly over skin or create lather in hands or washcloth before scrubbing thoroughly. Rinse well to finish washing.

How to Keep

Use a draining soap dish and whenever possible keep your bar soap away from water. This helps keep the soap bar dry between uses and extends the shelf life. In humid condition, you may observe crystallization of water droplets on the soap surface. This is normal and does not affect the quality of soap.

Ingredients

Aqua (Water): Distilled from natural free flowing mountain water.

Beeswax: With its natural anti-wrinkle, anti fungal and other skin care properties, it is known to help soothe skin and locks in moisture.

Citral: Main active constituents in the lemongrass essential oil. It has a fresh citrus fragrance.

Citronella: Obtained from the lemongrass during steam distillation. It is soothing to the skin and creates an uplifting environment.

Coconut “Cocos nucifera” Oil: This is one of the main base ingredients in our soap. It contains fatty acids mainly the lauric acid. Other minor components are caprylic, capric, myristic, palmitic, stearic, oleic and linoleic acid.

Ginger “Zingiber officinale” Rhizome: Cultivated in Southern Bhutan by small scale farmers, the high bioactive contents of Gingerols, shogaols and paradols are the key indicators for its superior quality.

Glycerin: This effective emollient is naturally produced from coconut oil during the soap making process.

Linalool: This is a natural fragrant alcohol which occurs in plants essential oils.

Mugwort “Artemisia” Essential Oil: Major constituents in Artemisia are camphor, and α-Thujone. The oil has an exciting antibacterial and antifungal.

Mustard “Brassica” Seed Oil: The mustard is cultivated and the oil extracted using cold pressed method by farmers from Dekiling under Sarpang District and Dagana under Dagana District.

Orange Peel “Mandarin” Essential Oils: The oil is distilled from peels of sweet oranges through steam distillation. The major component is d-limonene.

Organic Lemongrass “Cymbopogon bhutanicus” Essential Oil: Steam distilled pure essential oil from wild harvested lemon grass with its zesty freshness and skin care properties. The oil contains high citral content – which is a key quality indicator. Other important components are geranial and neral.
